Alaska Trip
My first trip to Alaska is now history. I flew to Anchorage and then we flew to Homer and then off to Geographic bay via the
plane in the above picture. We stayed on two boats anchored together. We were lucky to have two since the room size was very small and
having two people in one room with all the photo equipment would have been difficult. The weather for the whole trip was rainy off and on.
The Anchorage area had about the ninth rainiest August on record so I had several days in Anchorage on my own that were overcast. The bears
were feasting on salmon so we were able to observe a lot of behaviors. I've added a Alaska bear album under wildlife. I also added an Alaska
album under travel for other photos. I went down to Seward and took a Kenai Fjord Tour. Luckily I changed the date to a day that was clear.
I would love to visit Alaska again and stay longer!

2013 4-Wheeler Event
Added some images from a trip down to the fairgrounds to the 4-wheeler event here in Lima this weekend. The light was mainly overcast and they
had many "barriers" set up to good images. Also the wires and light poles are always "in the way". I was checking out some of the different autofocus
settings I have available on my D800 and they all seem to work ok with the motion of the trucks. I also tried a few videos and I still have much to learn
in that realm. Album is under events... hope you enjoy them.

Florida Trip
I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Florida recently trying out the new Nikon D4 camera. I cut the trip a bit shorter than planned since one
of the gas lifts for my pop up roof broke the first night I tried to lift the roof at a campsite. I visited Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, Ding Darling
on Sanibel Island and Venice Rookery. I would have to rate Merritt Island number one on this trip. The weather cooperated and I got some nice bird photos to post.
Hope you enjoy them.
